"The Terry Pottery that my husband and I started back in 1968 has been my professional career. Over the years, the work has been represented in many craft galleries throughout the country. Commissions have included museums and residential installations. Currently, my ceramic work is all hand built with slabs, coils, and wheel thrown accents. My signature has always been in my surface treatments. How the clay responds to textures whether stamping, rolling, or adding design elements is my passion in the process of creating my artwork. For the past few years I have also been teaching ceramics at Prescott College and Yavapai College. Acrylic and oil painting is another discipline in which I enjoy working. I have a B.A. in painting from Massachusetts College of Art and I studied with master potter Harry Holl."
