Kiye Paul-Evans was born in Sedona Arizona in 1979. Her family soon moved to Clarkdale, AZ where she spent the first 18 years of her life. Clarkdale is the home of a very artistic community, which she grew to be part of. Both of her parents are professional artists and have been her strongest influence. She moved to Seattle Washington when she was 18 following her dreams to study at the Art Institute and learn to work with glass. She learned a great deal at the Art Institute and at the Glass Studio. She returned to her home nearly three years later with a fresh view of art and education. She continues to study art, painting, photography, ceramics, digital art and every art form that she is exposed to. She has setup a glass blowing shop in her home and currently supports herself with her glass art. This has enabled her to return to school as a full time student. In 2001 she moved to Prescott to finish her Associate of Art degree at Yavapai College, which she completed in 2002. In 2006 she graduated from the Prescott branch of NAU with her Bachelor of Arts degree. She continues to attend classes at Yavapai College and believes that the community college is a valuable resource. She is currently focusing her creative energy on her jewelry business as well as experimenting with new medias and techniques. She believes that art and expression are intertwined with education and experimentation.
